Why PANIC?? Just PICNIC……!!

I believe one would want to go on a picnic in two extreme
situations. One, when you are happy about things around you and want a break from the usual work load. In the second case, the
person is wanting a break from the exhaustion of having nothing
to do.

In any such given situations, you just have to start planning an
outing. What does it do?! Well, it gives you space to think, gives
a change of place and purpose. It eventually lightens up one’s
mood and makes way for positive thoughts. Now, how do you go
about planning a picnic?

Given the first situation, more planning is needed to go
about the picnic as you would want to do a lot of things like
inviting friends, finalizing the place, budget and transport issues.
Arrange for a barbecue and some booze without which the
picnic is incomplete. If people are planning to put in more money,
arranging for a campfire would be the best idea. It also calls for
some loud music from the car speakers

Anyway, it is a little different in the second case as little
amount of planning would suffice. It mainly involves inviting the
apt people who are good friends with you and know the purpose
of the outing. Booze might be a must here though it does not
solve problems for you but will certainly help you forget the
questions.

Well, you might be wondering if I was a drunkard but I just
managed to get the previous lines from a book :p but it does
make a lot of sense, doesn’t it?

At the end of the day, picnicking is all about feeling good about oneself with some pampering and also not to forget thoseexotic drinks and some delicious food ;) Don’t you think LIFEitself is a journey with some well planned picnics and somewhich don’t really turn out to be that good!! We onlyneed to improvise on how we go about planning them each day

Woman is known for her unpredictability. She is strong yet sensitive, she is stubborn at times but still likable, she is clumsy and sometimes dirty yet beautiful. She expects a lot of time from her partner. Today’s woman looks for men who are emotional and caring. She is somebody who completes a man and makes him feel special !

Though looks matter, she is mostly turned on by his intelligence. Making love is not the only thing for her as she expects a lot of other simple gestures like a phone call after their breakup, she expects him to have some amount of respect for her friends and family people during their relationship or even after that. It just makes her feel a lot better :) So , what exactly turns her on?? Well, here are 13 different things which turn her on. But guys make sure you don’t try too hard to be that special someone because you either are or you are not.

After conducting a small survey, I managed to gather some views from my friends and other people. I hope you boys would get tips to get chicks :p

What turns her on?

1) Intelligence and humour

6)Men with good dressing sense and also some road sense :p

7)Loyalty

8)Ear piercings

9)Men with eye gears or eye glasses

10)Brand freaks (who always wear or use branded stuff)

11)Gutsy

12)Short hairdo(with straight hair)

13)Men who are also emotional

Her turn offs!

1)Bad body odour/bad breadth

2)Smokers are a turn off

3)Flaunts, snobs and wannabe’s are a no-no for a relationship. They fake up the whole thing!

4)Cry babies, gosh!!!

5)Desperate guys are a super duper turn off

6)Bossy, possessive, sarcastic and disrespectful men are a pain in the a**.

7)Big mouths

8)Men who manhandle women

Kick A Bad Habit Kick Plastic June 14, 2010

It is a bad world of Plastics today!

We have to become more responsible and do our little bit to retain our Planet’s beauty!  Let’s give it a thought now as it is high time as we all know.

What are the various things you could/should (depends on how you look at it) do everyday to save the planet? Here we go :

* Take a cloth bag with you when you go shopping for fruits and vegetables. This avoids one from taking too many plastic covers home.

* How could we save water everyday and also money-Tell yourself and also your children to close the tap while brushing teeth.I’m sure we all can do this little thing.

* I don’t have an automatic control which stops the motor once the tank is filled.Guess what I did,I’ve given a provision  wherein the extra water that overflows goes into my little garden.Think of such alternatives and do your bit to save water.

* Though the main highlight here is to lead a plastic free life,I would want to throw light on other aspects as well.

It is really difficult to enjoy the morning rides to college though the roads are good.Reason being “Traffic jams” and the pollution just kills me.I don’t remember the last time I honked, yes,I’ve stopped using the horns unnecessarily and I wonder how some people get their licenses as they lack road sense bigtime and their driving doesn’t get any better.

The word Car Pooling is gaining a lot of importance lately. So start pooling and make it a fun ride/drive to your workplace and thus save fuel!

* Though people talk about saving power and what not, most of us don’t really bother to turn off the lights and other electrical appliances when not in use.

* I still don’t understand why people keep their engines on when waiting at signals.I understand and think it’s quite certain if the engine does not have a self start but otherwise it’s always better to turn it off.

Do kurtas fit you fine, boyzz??! April 5, 2010

If YES,why are most Men reluctant to wear one to College??  Let’s rule out men buying new one’s, people don’t give old Kurtas a thought as well!

Most GIRLS think Kurtas are very fashionable and I guess any guy can carry it off well as it’s very simple an outfit .   I find men in Kurtis most attractive, tall men in particular look Adorable :p

Khadi and Cotton Kurtis are in and I must say,”Guys, time to get trendy n unsophisticated.Stop giving tight pants and T- shirts a thought as they sometimes look awful and please do revive your Dressing sense(nonsense)!!”

The next time you go shopping, try something new n different like a traditional yet smart Kurti which goes well with your pair of Jeans. When I got an opportunity to talk to Prasad Bidapa, one of the finest fashion designers in India,he said Khadi kurtis are more popular in the west as this fabric is considered very royal.

The store “FAB INDIA ” has a good collection of these,so time to get one for yourself :) :)

I make sure I end the Day with a smile! March 27, 2010

It was yet another day in college and I had a lab to attend.I’m still unsure if I should be calling it a “Computer Science lab” or a “Counter Strike lab” because the concerned Lecturer hasn’t turned up till date.We heard about a campus interview that was happening the following day in some other college and we all were really excited. But the excitement died when I heard they were taking students with a 60 aggregate in 10th,12th and degree.

You won’t believe what happened next,we sneaked in for the aptitude test submitting all false resume(made 58 to 60) .One guy was very doubtful when he saw an exact 60 in my resume, nevermind! While my friends waited for the results,I was loafing around in that campus and bumped into one of my friends who’s a student there.Later,I get a call saying everyone cleared except for me and another girl. How embarrassing is it!! The girl didn’t bother much since she’s already placed in Wipro and so didn’t I cause I’m changing my stream.

I have to tell you about this one girl who was marking the answers even after the question paper was taken away as she wasn’t prepared like me but we were shocked to hear that she was the HIGHEST SCORER !!?? LOL…

My friend and I decided to watch the movie  ”American Pie” as  the day was bad for us and we wanted some refreshment. After the movie,we were back to our normalcy and I decided to head back home.I just prayed no one was home because I was in no mood to answer my Mum’s questions regarding the placements and was very delighted to find no one home.I tuned into Radio Indigo and I was more joyful when I heard the jockey speak. It was ‘Sriram’ and I kinda know him through my friend.

He was asking the listeners to text about some disastrous  moments moments and there I go into confusion again as to which one to mention.I texted  the recent disaster wherein I was CAUGHT COPYING and was thrown out of class. Then I get a call from the radio and they put me on air.I candidly began describing the incident as to how I wasn’t prepared for the internals and how I had scribbled down something on my ruler. The most dangerous lecturer caught me and chucked me out.I had to get my sister to speak to the senior faculty and what not.Phew!!

Later ,I was surprised to see a message from the RJ on my Facebook account telling me how my little disaster was just brilliant, heehe…. So what I’m trying to say here is never end your Day without a SMILE no matter what it takes to just smile :) Life’s Beautiful and we gotta live it to the fullest!!

BUT IT’S ALWAYS GOOD TO CRACK YOUR FIRST INTERVIEW……!! :(   ISN’T IT!!

Is someone cribbing again???!  NO!!  NO!!  NOT ME :p
